The alcoholic products listed on this webshop are for reference only. 

According to The Tobacco and Alcohol Administration Act in Taiwan, it is not permitted to complete the process for alcohol products online. 


As such this website will follow a slightly different process and use some different terms compared to what you are used to on other websites. The process is still simple, all necessary steps will be explained in the email sent once you have "submitted your inquiry", and if you have any questions please don't hesitate to reach out to us on Facebook. We appreciate your business. Please drink responsibly and only if over 18.


 

【About Delivery】 


Q1What should I do if I have not received the "Thank you for your inquiry" Email

After submitting your inquiry through the webshop, you should receive a "Thank you for your inquiry" Email. If you haven't received it within 30 minutes, please check your spam folder or if the registered Email address in your Member Profile is correct. If the issue persists, please contact us directly for further assistance.

If we do not receive any response or any contact from you within 7 days, the inquiries will be canceled automatically. You will be required to do it again if you still wish to drink beers.


Q2:When will I receive my order?  What does "Shipped" in the delivery status mean

After payment is confirmed, your order will be shipped within 1 – 3 working days and the delivery status will be updated as "shipped". Due to the current pandemic situation, our logistics partner can not guarantee an exact arrival date. You can track your orders on HCT Logistics  by using the 10 digit code provided in the “Order” section of your member page. If no code was provided, please contact us directly for further assistance.

 

Q3:Are you delivering to outlying islands

Currently, we can only offer room temperature delivery service (NT$200) to the outlying islands, including Penghu, Kinmen, Matsu, Ludao, Orchid Island, Ryukyu and other islands. Cold chain delivery is unfortunately not available right now.

 

Q4:Can I pick up at the brewery?

You can pick the package up directly from the brewery during weekdays from 10:00 to 17:00. Please message UGLY HALF BEER Facebook directly. Please remember to bring your ID card so we can verify you are over 18.

 

Q5:Where else can I buy your beer?

Please check out "Find Our Beer Here"  for more outlet information. During the pandemic period, business hours and inventory may change at any time. We recommend contacting the outlet directly before visiting.

Q7:How should I store my beer?

Keeping beer refrigerated is the absolute best method to preserve its flavor and freshness. We recommend storing beer at 2 – 4°C whenever possible. If you cannot keep your beer refrigerated, store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.

Q8:What should I do if I made a mistake in my order? Can I cancel my order?

Please check your order status through Email or log in to the webshop. If the delivery status shows "Unfulfilled", you can contact us to modify the items or cancel the order. If we have already shipped your order and the beer products are not defective or damaged due to shipping, no return or exchange will be provided. Please note the standard 7-Days appreciation period does not apply to beer as it is a food product. For further detailed instructions, please check our "Return Policy".

 

Q9:There is something wrong with my package. What should I do?

We apologize for the unpleasant shopping experience. If the packaging is obviously damaged when it arrives, please do not accept delivery. The courier will return the defective product directly to us. For any other problems, please take photos and videos as soon as you notice the problem and contact us directly for further assistance.
